ABOUT ME
Reflecting on the teachers who made the greatest impact on me, I realize they stood out because they genuinely cared. Their empathy and compassion left a lasting impression, and these are the qualities I’ve always aspired to bring into my own work.
Growing up with dyslexia, eye floaters, and auditory challenges, I often wished for a mentor—someone who would not only help me navigate my struggles but also believe in my potential. This experience fuels my passion for creating a supportive and nurturing environment for every student.
I bring humor, adaptability, and a steadfast commitment to meeting the needs of students while aligning with the goals of both parents and educators. With a degree from Belmont University, an MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU, multiple California teaching credentials, and a wealth of life experience, I am equipped to guide and inspire students across diverse backgrounds.
I aim to be an asset not just in the classroom, but to the broader community, fostering an environment where students feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
